The beginning …

As many know, was born in Jackson Guitars Charvel guitars heavy metal since the genre was at its peak. Charvel was originally co-owned by Wayne Charvel and Grover Jackson, Charvel as guitars. The Birth of Jackson guitars …

End of 1980, Jackson was approached by a young guitar virtuoso Randy Rhoads, a former Quiet Riot. The result was a sleek, white V-shaped guitar initially called Concorde. The view was similar to the Gibson Flying V, but the lower wingthe guitar was about half the length of the wing top. The typical Charvel guitar was much more conservative in appearance then the decision that the new guitar was too radical for the regulars Charvel, Jackson has put his own name on the guitar, and so Jackson Guitars was born. Rhoads played guitar for a while ', but wanted to develop a model with the characteristics of their own specification. To date, Jackson Guitars has changed a few times over the years. In 1985, Jackson Guitar Corporation was acquired by Texas Music International. IMC continues the high quality and performance standards that Jackson was famous for electric guitars, and in 1986 produced the famous Model King V. The king was originally designed for VRobbin Crosby of Ratt and was for many first-rate musicians of heavy metals, including Dave Mustaine of Megadeth praised.

In 2002, Fender acquired Jackson guitars. Jackson declined in popularity because of the fear that, as often happens when a company such as Jackson, together with a trademark long-standing as Fender, that there is a decrease in quality of parent does not want the brand to compete with its main lines. Fender did not intend to do so, however, and artistsjust saw that the same high standards of Fender guitars that Jackson had a reputation for their maintenance.
